Hi and welcome back to my blog! Today is episode 2 of Sea Otters vs River Otters! I hope y'all enjoy!!!
Sooooooo... I've done this before but I don't think it was very fair that I was judging (actually I think it was completely fair but my friends said that it wasn't so 'oh well' I guess) To fix this I'm going to get one of my friends to judge it for me!
FUN FACT! She also has a blog which is really cool! You should check it out! π
ANYWAYS! For todays round of judging, I will be asking the internet/google what are the cutest facts about each otter and my friend will be judging based on that! I will get 3 facts for each and then she will choose the ✨CUTEST FACT✨. Enjoy! (be warned, she has mentioned to me several times that she likes River Otters better...)
(For her) I'll do River Otters first! Lets go!
1. River Otters actually build dens! Much like Beavers,
This is a Beaver by the way
River Otter build dens strategically placed near water and have many entrances on land and in the water to get in. I think this is cute because it's like building a little cubby or nook, which I personally find adorable!
2. A group of River Otters is called a Romp! I don't know if that's cute but...ummm...MOVING ON!
3. This might not seem cute but just hear me out! River Otters can run as fast as a man on land, which is 24km and hour! WHICH is cute because just imagine seeing them run on their little, stubby legs!
SEA OTTERS next! WooHoo!
1. Last week I mentioned that Sea Otters have a fold of skin that acts as a pouch under their arm. But did you know that they also use it to store their πfavourite rock π
2. Sea Otter hold their babies on their chest when they are floating on their back! Like a hug!

Like this!
3. Just their overall appearance is SO CUTE! Puffy cheeks, super fluffy and just cute, CUTE, CUTE!
Now for the results!
SHE HAS CHOSEN...
πRIVER OTTERSπ
She said her favourite fact was the running one. In her words exactly, she said:
"I like the running one because I like how athletic they are. Also I think when they run on their stubby legs, it's very cute. But overall I just prefer how they look as well."
Thank you for judging and make sure you check out her blog! It is now a tie, 1 for Sea Otters and 1 for River Otters! I hope you enjoyed this weeks episode and I'll see you next week! Bye!
